Requiring travel between Innisfail and Lacombe, and working as an integral member of the financial services team, the
Payroll and Finance Officer will provide full cycle accounting expertise in a highly automated processing environment, and
is responsible for the administration and preparation of payroll including all year end processes, timely and accurate
preparation and distribution of payroll, maintaining data in the payroll system, collecting and tracking payroll
statistics/metrics, account reconciliations, responding to employee inquiries regarding payroll practices and related
employment standards.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
(Education; Experience/Training; Knowledge; Licenses/Certificates; Membership Requirements)
- Payroll Certification (PCP) completed and in good standing with the Canadian Payroll Association;
- 2 to 3 years of related experience in a full cycle payroll position
- Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office especially Outlook and Excel
- Experience with in house payroll software and HRIS Platforms
- Currently enrolled in CPA program or desire to obtain designation, consideration will also be made for similar

education such as a diploma/certificate in business administration with a focus on accounting

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Full cycle payroll using ADP Workforce bi-weekly, and ensure accuracy of all leaves (LTD, WCB, STD, etc.)
- Benefit and Pension plan administration and reconciliation
- Audit salary, benefit and pension entitlements to ensure that relevant documentations are accurate
- Accounts receivable functions such as rent processing, bank reconciliations and invoicing
- Accounts payable functions such as review and processing of invoices, purchase order follow up, vendor

communications payment runs and other accounts payable duties as required
- Complete tasks in a timely manner while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality and accuracy
