**The Elora Mill Hotel & Spa is seeking a People & Culture Coordinator to act as a direct support to our People & Culture Manager. Elora Mill Hotel & Spa is nestled in the heart of Elora set alongside the Grand River. We are a unique luxury property that offers a special escape for all of our guests.** - You have experience working in hospitality. - You have completed a post-secondary degree or diploma, preferably with a concentration in business, human resources and/or hospitality. - You are both personally and professionally aware, accepting and understanding that there is always room for development. - You are a positive individual that thrives in collaborative environment. **Key Accountabilities**: ATTITUDE / CULTURE - Communicate, and exemplify, Pearle’s core values by demonstrating genuine and thoughtful hospitality in the day-to-day execution of duties. - Exhibit a positive optimism and upbeat personality toward management, team members, vendors, professionals, business partners and guests. HUMAN RESOURCES/ RELATIONSHIPS - Create an environment of trust, providing employees with a platform to voice concerns, development goals, confidential matters, etc. - Can identify when to address any concerns or issues and when to seek further guidance or direction before responding to an employee. - Identify areas of opportunity within culture and works with P&C Manager towards enhancements. - Support programs and training to promote health and wellness in the properties; - Support P&C Manager with administrative duties such as employee file organization, Club Core organization and follow up. - Manage property communication and values boards ensuring that they are kept up to date. - Support team member appreciation efforts including sourcing and preparing gifts for special occasions etc. RECRUITMENT/ONBOARDING - Prepare paperwork for new hire; ensure accuracy when received from department manager prior to sending to HO. - Coordinate and facilitate orientation events. - schedule onboarding check-ins with new hires (with management/ HR, as appropriate) TRAINING/HEALTH & SAFETY - Organize professional training events as directed by need and in coordination with P&C Manager. - Participates as a JHSC member; coordinate walk throughs and meetings, as required; ensure proper signage throughout property. ADMINISTRATIVE/ORGANIZATIONAL - Ensure cleanliness and organization of office space and that all supplies are ordered in a timely and efficient manner. - Collaborate with P&C manager to develop and execute on monthly Club Core content calendar with regards to property "happenings". - Prepare for and attend the weekly manager’s meeting - creates meeting agenda and captures accurate minutes and distributes action items. - Participate in casual photography for the property as required. - Oversee Uniform inventory and ordering for the property. - Ensure that Staff Room areas are kept clean, organized and visually appealing. - Oversee team member and guest parking. - Leverage skill sets to support operations as required, prepared to jump into operations to support the team as needed. **Advantages to being part of the Elora Mill Hotel & Spa team**: - Training and Development to support personal & professional growth - Career opportunities across all Pearle Hospitality properties - Competitive wages - Discounts at all Pearle Hospitality properties (restaurants, hotels, and spas) - Benefit and Health Insurance Options - A beautiful and fun place to work with a dynamic team & company culture Pearle Hospitality and affiliated companies, including Elora Mill Hotel & Spa, accommodate the needs of job applicants throughout its recruitment and selection processes in accordance with the Ontario Human Rights Code and the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act.
