**Career Opportunity - Business Development Professional**

**Primary Responsibilities of the Role**
- Develop sales and marketing opportunities for new (and some existing) customers in the Mining, Road construction, Agriculture, Forestry, and Aviation sectors
- Preparing written quotations and proposals in response to customer inquiries
- Ensuring proper execution of a customer order from quotation to final shipment by leveraging internal business tools and working collaboratively and in a timely manner with Logistics and Production team members
- Performing necessary calculations and analysis, troubleshooting processes or product-related issues with the support of the Technical Support team
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to identify potential opportunities for growth; the development of new sales; focused on financial achievement and customer satisfaction
- Attend trade shows and conferences
- Conduct Product and Sales presentations
- Participate in the development of, and/or lead research to identify new markets and fulfilling customer needs
- Offer meaningful contributions (ideas as well as feedback) to the team via participation in various aspects of the organization including but not limited to business development, marketing initiatives and participation in brand and product building via various digital media platforms
- Develop a growth strategy focused both on professional achievement, organizational financial gain, and customer satisfaction
- Arrange and conduct business meetings with prospective clients
- Follow-up with current and potential customers in a timely manner
- With support of our Tech Team, make product recommendations to customers based on specific requirements
- Promote the company’s products/services addressing and/or predicting clients’ objectives
- Prepare contracts ensuring adherence to company policy, law-established, rules and guidelines
- Keep up to date and accurate records of sales, revenue, and invoices
- Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support to internal stakeholders and existing customers
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
- Participate in the development of new entry level team members into well established, knowledgeable, and contributing sales professionals

**Other Duties**
- Gathering and maintaining competitive intelligence in specific markets
- Product training in specific types of product offerings
- Providing customer education (seminars) as required

**Requirements and Skills**
- Proven working experience in business development, executive sales, or relevant role
- Proven sales track record/results
- Experience in customer support is a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office and Customer Relationship Management software
- Proficiency in English - proficiency in other languages is an asset
- Market and sector specific knowledge and experience
- Above average communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to build rapport
- Analytical skills

- Results-oriented
- Team player / collaborator mentality
- Time management and planning skills
- BSc/BA in business administration, sales, or relevant field

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
