We are currently seeking an experienced **Sanitation Worker**to join our overnight operations. This position reports directly to the Sanitation Supervisor.
**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:
- Enforce all sanitation and safe work practices in accordance with HACCP and CFIA standards.
- Detailed attention to company's sanitary procedures to prevent contamination is crucial.
- Complete wash down and inspection of all operating equipment, floors, walls, and ceilings using industrial power hose.
- Dispense cleaning and sanitizing chemicals.
- Empty and clean large trash bins and other waste containers/compactors.
- Clean and sanitize all production tools (containers, bins, racks, hoses).
- General upkeep and maintenance of sanitation equipment.
**Experience**:
- Minimum 1 year of general labour or industrial sanitation (preferably in food production industry).
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) principles is preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively and speak, read, write English
- Extreme attention to detail, with the ability to troubleshoot and problem solve.
**Other Information**:
- Applicant must have reliable transportation in order to accommodate shift time.
**Shifts Available**: 6:00PM-2:30AM (NIGHTS)
Capital Fine Meats offers a full benefit package after successful completion of probationary period (3 months).
