**The Ministry of the Solicitor General, Ontario Provincial Police, and the Operations Support Centre (OSC) is seeking a qualified individual to join our Finance & Administration Section. In this exciting, rewarding and challenging opportunity, you will provide facilities co-ordination and advise, in consultation with Business Management Bureau (BMB), Facilities Section, on a range of facilities and accommodation issues within Investigations and Organized Crime Command GHQ and deployed covert locations.**

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is one of North America's largest deployed police services with more than 5,800 uniformed officers, 2,400 civilian employees and 830 Auxiliary officers. The OSC is a centralized unit that provides financial, administrative, procurement, business planning, and project management support to IOC Command, inclusive of: Investigations and Support Bureau (I&SB), Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau (OCEB), and the Provincial Operations Intelligence Bureau (POIB). The OSC vision and mandate is to provide optimal service delivery to POIB, OCEB and I&SB and support highly technical IOC requirements as well as enhance core procurement, financial, administrative, business planning and project management functions.

**About the job**: To provide facilities co-ordination and advise, in consultation with Business Management Bureau (BMB), Facilities Section, on a range of facilities and accommodation issues within Investigations and Organized Crime Command GHQ and deployed covert locations.**What you bring to the team**:
**Mandatory requirements**:
- Ability to pass an OPP background/ security investigation.
**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:
- Knowledge & experience in facilities management, policies, procedures, guidelines and standards relevant to lease management processes.
- Knowledge and experience with legislation relevant to Ontario building codes, standards and acts governing building construction, renovations, facilities maintenance & management.
- Possesses the ability to plan, develop, coordinate and implement multiple, large-scale accommodation/leasing projects.
- Written communication skills to compose correspondence (e.g. decision and information notes, business cases, procurement packages, and progress reports.
- Experience with computer software/systems, including spreadsheets, word processing, project, presentation software, and database information.
- The ability to provide creative solutions to urgent or unique requests (includes but not limited to requirements related to covert locations).
- Ability to prioritize when working on multiple, deadline-driven projects concurrently. Adherence to deadlines while addressing critical issues and researching/ preparing issue documents and briefing/decision notes.
- Ability to exercise sensitivity, tact and diplomacy in handling confidential information.
