The individuals in this role reports to the Manager of Sunnyside Campground and Accommodations.

**Sunnyside Site & Facility Maintenance - Competition #2025 - 02**

**(Seasonal Position)**

Site & Facility Maintenance staff are primarily responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of the campground facilities, sites, beachfront, public areas, roadways, boulevards, and litter pick-up within Sunnyside Campground.

Knowledge, skills and abilities:
General knowledge of landscaping equipment such as line trimmer, blower, lawnmower, power washer, and other related maintenance equipment.

Ability to perform site maintenance, such as rake sites, clean fire pits and remove ash, check and report any irregularities with sewer caps and electrical covers, and remove rope, or nails from trees.

Ability to perform a variety of interior and exterior building cleaning functions on all buildings, such as dusting fixtures, mop-wash, scrubbing floors, cleaning washrooms including washing sinks, toilets, and floors, and replenishing supplies.

Operate cleaning equipment such as a vacuum, blower, and other related cleaning

equipment.

Collect and dispose of refuse.

Maintain inventory, including firewood and ice, and notify the Campground Manager of low inventory levels.

**All Positions Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:
Provide excellent customer service, which may include minor assistance to campers

Valid driver's license

Ability to operate golf carts, gators and maintain daily cart check log reports.

Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and balance overlapping priorities.

Ability to complete WHIMIS training and;
a satisfactory police information check.

**Sunnyside Site & Facility Maintenance - Competition #2025 - 2**

**(Seasonal Position)**

These are Union positions under the Collective Agreement between Cultus Lake Park and CUPE Local 458. The incumbents will normally work between 4-40 hours per week, where shifts may be up to eight (8) hours per day (exclusive of a lunch break not to exceed one-half hour). Scheduled between 7:00 am and 8:00 pm. Shifts may include weekends and statutory holidays. Performance of duties requires working outside in all kinds of climactic conditions. The incumbent is required to follow all safety practices and procedures in the performance of duties.
