**Job Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations, utensils, and equipment.
- Assist in the inventory management of food supplies and ingredients.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during peak hours.
- Monitor food quality during preparation and service to ensure optimal taste and presentation.
- Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety procedures.
- Participate in regular kitchen clean-up duties to maintain a safe working environment.
- Previous experience in the food industry or as a cook is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team setting.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- A passion for meal preparation and an eagerness to learn new cooking techniques.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $17.50-$18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 - 44 per week
