If so, APTN has a new and exciting opportunity for you as the Strategic Data Analysis Specialist.

- Provide data-driven strategic and critical analysis/recommendations on programming;
- Search for new opportunities based on data and industry trends;
- Track, monitor and report on programming commitments and Canada Media Fund (CMF) programs;
- Forecast spending for CMF envelopes;
- Prepare annual data-heavy CMF Total Hours Tuned report and CRTC report;
- Collect and analyze program and performance data. Report key metrics/insights to stakeholders;
- Draft Request for Proposals (RFPs);
- Oversee the producer section of the APTN website to ensure current information is posted for APTN’s producers;
- Ensure compliance with funding bodies’ submission deadlines;
- Assist in developing annual strategic plans for data review and analysis.

**Your accomplishments and experience include**:

- A degree or diploma in a relevant discipline (eg: statistics/analytics, information management, production financing/accounting), or equivalent combination of education, experience and traditional knowledge;
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
- Broadcasting knowledge is an asset;
- Experience with Canada Media Fund programs and policies is an asset;
- Experience working with an Indigenous organization as well as knowledge of Indigenous cultural perspectives is an asset.
