Pelesys’ Training Management and Deployment System is a web-based solution providing training deployment and compliance management solutions for the commercial aviation industry. Pelesys continues to develop and maintain its own off-the-shelf aviation training courseware consisting of over a thousand hours of Web-Based Training (WBT). Pelesys WBT includes both aircraft type courses as well as special operations courseware required for all regulatory training. Summary of Position We are looking for proactive, detail-oriented and accountable e-Learning production artists/courseware developers to join our growing team Our e-Learning production artists/courseware developers work together to create web-based e-Learning courseware for the aviation industry. You would be creating and compiling courseware using company and project standards. All of our courseware includes high quality graphics, animations, on-screen text and audio narration. **This is a 1 year temporary position. ** What you’ll be doing - Based on storyboard data from our Subject Matter Experts: - create or revise graphics/animations for content pages (using Adobe Animate) - build courseware using company templates (Adobe Animate and/or Storyline 360) - create and time audio orders for final narration - Follow and maintain company/project standards through all stages of development - Report project status to team lead - Complete assigned tasks within established project timelines - Input project hours into time management system for records and tracking purposes - Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (aviation industry professionals) - Other related duties as required What you’ll bring - Great attention to detail, passion for quality - Working knowledge of Adobe suite and Storyline 360 - Adobe Animate/Flash preferred but will train - Graphic design skills are an asset - Solid written and verbal communication skills - Proactive and accountable - Effectively time management and prioritization skills - Ability to stay organized and multi-task across various duties - Willingness to learn new software/skills as required Why we’re awesome - Flexible work hours and flexible work program - Safe and responsive pandemic protocols - Flexible benefits including optional Defined Benefits Retirement Plan, Employee Stock Purchase Plan and Group RRSP - Friendly and collaborative work environment - Fun and interactive team events - Opportunities for professional learning, growth, and career advancement LI-JN1 Position Type Temporary (Fixed Term) CAE thanks all applicants for their interest.
