We are a private psychology practice in the heart of Hamilton. Here at Hamilton Psychological Services, we are committed to providing high - quality evidence - based psychological services and assessments to children, adolescents, adults, couples and families.
Roles and responsibilities include (not limited to):
- Registering new clients and updating existing client demographics.
- Managing client tasks as assigned which include making calls to clients, schools, doctor offices, government agencies and other clinics.
- Processing faxes and scanning of documents daily.
- Processing payments as well as 3rd party payments and extended health care benefits.
- Clinic mail retrieval and distribution.
The successful applicant will:
- Have relevant experience in office administration at a mental health clinic or other health professional clinic.
- Have excellent communication skills in English (spoken, written, reading and comprehension).
- Be committed and reliable, with a friendly and caring personality; have ability to display compassion and sensitivity to clients/families in a mental health clinic setting
- Have strong attention to detail - efficiently achieve thoroughness and accuracy daily.
- Be able to work effectively both independently and within a team setting.
- Have strong computer literacy skills; previous experience with Electronic Practice Management Software is an asset.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: From $20.80 per hour
Expected hours: 27.5 per week
