Position: Interior Design Coordinator

Southbridge Care Homes owns and operates 26 Long-Term Care Homes and 9 Retirement Homes throughout many urban and rural areas of Ontario. Southbridge Care Homes is seeking an Interior Design Coordinator to deliver support and expertise to our Operations leadership team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conceptualizing, designing, and executing projects in all phases of the interior design process
- Working with our architects and consultants in order to generate conceptual design, schematic design and design development packages, proposals, bidding and tender packages, and construction documents
- Help in creating and maintaining Southbridge design standards
- Collaborating with cross-departmental teams within the company to design, execute and deliver great projects
- Strong knowledge of the Ontario Building Code and other applicable laws
- Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
- Report to Accounting all required documentation for invoice approvals
- Liaison with all Team members, Senior Executives and Government agencies as required

Skills and Qualifications:

- Post-secondary education in Interior Design (Degree or Diploma)
- High level of organization and ability to work collaboratively, and independently
- Ability to receive project information and organize and create corporate level presentations with minor oversight
- Self starter, ambitious, with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Passion for Real Estate and Construction Development
- Ability to provide simultaneous support for needs across multiple projects in varying phases
- Strong detail-oriented skills are critical, along with exceptional time management and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both orally and written
- Self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all teams and levels in the organization and government
- Adobe, CAD and Revit experience is a must
- Willingness to travel; a valid driver’s license is required
- Strong understanding of building and interiors materials and detailing
