**Job Description**:
Under the supervision of the Head of 2D department, you will work closely with the VFX supervisor, producers and coordinators to ensure satisfaction and respect for the customer's vision. You will also be responsible for transferring communication between them and the compositors as well as delegating the workload appropriately. Acting as an artistic and technical resource, you will be responsible for supervising, supporting and training your compositors so that they can meet the quality standards required by production and meet deadlines.

**Responsibilities**
- Supervise and approve each stage of compositing of his project (from R & D to final delivery) ;
- Establish timelines, production priorities and work methods appropriate to the project to be able to communicate, organize and distribute tasks to the compositors ;
- Provide updates to the production team ;
- Offer effective and sustainable solutions for the compositing department ;
- Participate, in collaboration with the Head of 2D and the IT team, to define and set up an efficient production pipeline for his project ;
- Take part in the realization of certain plans or sequences ;
- Ensure quality control, timeliness and internal approval before sending to the client ;
- Participate in various meetings ;
- Assist, as required, with management in compositors recruitment efforts ;
- Participate actively in project evaluations and the post-mortem process ;
- Ensure respect for the policies inherent to the work in his team (eg schedule, attendance, procedures, etc.).

**Qualifications**:

- Have a minimum of 2 years experience in a VFX production supervisor position;
- Have senior level expertise as a compositor;
- Graduated in a 3D animation program and / or equivalent degree in computer graphics;
- Excellent understanding of all stages of a VFX production;
- Master all techniques and practices related to VFX projects;
- Excellent use of Nuke and / or Flame;
- Fluent in English (oral and written).

**Profile**

Please note that you must be able to provide a demo reel that illustrates your relevant artistic and technical experience that also includes the nuances for this specific role.
