Bouygues Energies & Services is a leading provider of Facility Management services to a range of clients across Canada and, through our parent company Bouygues Construction, globally. Our Canadian projects include the government, aviation industry, and healthcare and entertainment sectors.

Currently, we are seeking several Casual On-Call Groundskeepers to join our team to work at the RCMP “E” Division Headquarters located in North Surrey, BC. The facility is a state-of-the-art, 35-acre multi-building complex that has won several awards.

The current rate of pay is between $20.25-22.00 per hour depending on shift.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the principal duties of a Groundskeeper are to assist with performing groundskeeping duties including the maintenance, repair, construction, and installation in all grounds and gardens.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Caring for all lawns, mowing, and edging.
- Maintaining flower beds, planting, and weeding.
- Planting shrubs, trees, flower beds as required.
- Collecting and removing garbage, seasonal debris, and litter, including leaves from all sidewalks.
- Operating a company truck to deliver seasonal debris and lawn cuttings to a composting site.
- Removing snow and ice from sidewalks and parking areas.
- Complying with the Company’s Policies, Management Plans, and Procedures

KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience in groundskeeping and lawn maintenance
- Valid driver’s license
- Equipment operator experience, including small equipment such as mowers and trimmers.
- Comfortable with walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling for extended periods and be able to lift, carry or move items up to 50 lb
- Ability to pass the RCMP Reliability Status security clearance.

Please note that individuals working at this location must obtain a high-level government Security Clearance that may take several months to process. For this, you must have resided in Canada for at least five years and have no criminal record.
