At **Splendid Landscape Services Inc.**, we pride ourselves on providing top-tier landscaping and grounds maintenance to a diverse range of clients. We're currently hiring a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to supervise our team and contribute hands-on to daily horticultural operations.

This role is **part-time at 40 hours/week**, with potential to transition to **full-time after a 3-month probation period**.

**What You’ll Be Doing**
- Leading, coaching, and motivating landscaping crew members
- Performing grounds and horticultural maintenance including lawn care, hedge trimming, pruning, and planting
- Safely operating landscaping tools and machinery (e.g., mowers, trimmers, blowers, ladders)
- Driving a company vehicle (truck and trailer)
- Ensuring service quality and safety standards are met
- Communicating effectively with clients and team members

**Required Qualifications & Experience**

**Certifications**:

- BCLNA certification, or
- Completion of a horticulture diploma/degree, apprenticeship, or journeyman trade qualification

**Experience**:

- 3-5 years of horticulture and supervisory experience
- Strong plant knowledge, pruning, lawn maintenance, and team supervision
- Minimum 1 year of landscape maintenance (required)

**Skills & Abilities**:

- Proficient and safe use of landscaping tools and machinery
- Valid **BC Driver’s License** and ability to operate a truck and trailer
- Excellent English communication (spoken and written)
- Ability to lift 25-50 lbs and perform physical work safely
- Team-oriented with leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
