**Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Attendant to join our team in a LTC environment.

**Responsibilities**
- Supervising patients in your care without distraction.
- Alerting nurses when patients need help or intervention.
- Providing emotional support and companionship to patients.
- Assist patients with basic requests.
- Actively assist patient in engaging with activities like puzzles.
- Refrain from performing medical procedures or any unauthorized actions.
- Adhere to Resident's care-plan and institutional policies and standards.
- Keeping patient information confidential.

**Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Exceptional listening and communication skills.
- Strong observation ability.
- Ability to handle emotionally distressing situations.
- Professional appearance and excellent hygiene.
- Ability to act calmly and swiftly under pressure.
- Previous experience as a Patient Sitter or similar role is preferred.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
