Duties & Responsibilities
- Acting as first point of contact for all desktop & laptop users, including troubleshooting issues & escalating to a senior level resource when applicable
- Installing, configuring, & upgrading operating systems & software
- Installing, assembling, & configuring computers, monitors, network infrastructure, & peripherals such as printers, scanners, & related hardware
- Provide training to staff on the use of standard business & administrative software
- Ensure all IT Service Desk tickets are properly logged, routed, escalated, & closed in accordance with predetermined service levels & incident management processes
- Properly track corporate assets by ensuring documentation is complete & signed, that all new equipment is tagged & ensuring that HR & IT systems of record are complete and up to date

Experience, Skills & Competencies
- 1-2 years of experience working in Desktop/Help Desk/Technical Support, with exposure to a variety of software & hardware technologies an asset
- Post-secondary program in computer science or related discipline
- Professional Information Technology designation is an asset (A+, MCP)
- Good knowledge & exposure to a variety of hardware & software
- Experience working with remote management software
