**Location**: NE Calgary, Alberta

Restore Child and Youth Care Inc. seeks a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a **Community Youth Worker**. We have an immediate opening for:

- A Community Youth Worker
- Hours: 25 hours per week
- Shifts: 5 hours Monday to Friday (10:00 AM - 3:00 PM).
- Extra hours could be picked up if needed.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide care and support to children and youth with complex needs
- The purpose is to do outdoor activities with individuals.
- Assist with emotional and behavioural development
- Engage youth in daily activities while ensuring their well-being
- Assisting individuals with completing daily chores and meal preparation
- Completing paperwork after each shift
- Attending mandatory staff meetings and training

**Wage Rate**:

- Starting at $17.50 per hour
- Increase to $18.50 per hour after a 3-month probationary period

**Requirements**:

- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
- Proof of $2 million liability insurance coverage
- Child Intervention Check
- Driver’s Abstract
- Criminal Record Check (including Vulnerable Sector Check)
- Reliable vehicle for work (mileage reimbursed)

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience working with children and youth with complex needs
- Valid First Aid and CPR training certificate
- Crisis Prevention Intervention Training certificate
- Trauma-Informed Care Training certificate
- Food Safety Training certificate
- Indigenous awareness training or work experience
- Someone with outreach experience (preferred).
