**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
The Physician Recruitment Coordinator (PRC) is a key member of the North Shore Health Network. Reporting directly to the President/Chief Executive Officer of NSHN, the PRC with work collaboratively with the Medical Affairs Coordinator/Executive Assistant and the Executive Director of the Huron Shore Family Health Team. Additionally, the PRC will support the North Shore Recruitment Committee and provide administrative support to the CEO in all aspects of physician recruitment including, but not limited to, travel arrangement, scheduling of meetings and maintenance of recruitment records.

The PRC will administratively support locum coverage for the Emergency Departments at the Blind River, Thessalon and Richards Landing Sites; Acute Care Unit at the Blind River Site; Clinics in Blind River, Thessalon, Bruce Mines and Richards Landing. Support will include computer access, accommodations, site manuals and welcome packages. The PRC will also be accountable for all recruitment and retention administrative procedures which will include, but not limited to, updating the NSHN website, communication preparation and design.

The PRC will welcome and introduce all medical learners and residents to the communities through planned events and provide introductions to municipal leaders.

**MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION**:

- Post Secondary education in Administration, Communications, Marketing or a related field
- Valid class “G” license with clear driver’s abstract
- Access to a reliable vehicle

**ASSETS**:

- Bilingual
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in an administration field
- Recent related experience administration roles in a healthcare setting
- Experience in Recruitment

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES**:

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional time-management skills
- Strong organizational skills, the ability to multi-task and work independently
- Ability to effectively communicate with physicians, elected officials, government agents
- Ability to commit to flexible work schedule including weekend and evenings as required
- Ability to exercise good judgement, show initiative
- Demonstrated ability to work as a committed team player
- High Standards of ethics and confidentiality to handle sensitive information
