As a Brand and Marketing Manager, a typical day might include:_**
- Reviewing and approving social media content to ensure alignment with brand messaging and guidelines
- Providing feedback and suggestions for improvement when necessary
- Writing and editing compelling, SEO-optimized blog posts, website content, and marketing copy
- Organizing and developing content for brochures, ensuring a cohesive story arc in alignment with the intended messaging and goals
- Proofreading and refining marketing materials to maintain a high standard of quality and accuracy
- Collaborating with external SEO consultants and execute recommendations, including content updates, keyword optimization, and technical SEO tasks
- Finding opportunities to improve our SEO where possible
- Acting as a gatekeeper for brand consistency across all channels and materials
- Reviewing documents, presentations, and marketing materials to ensure compliance with brand guidelines.
- Serving as the primary point of contact for third-party vendors, including the SEO consultants and design firms.
- Ensuring timelines, objectives, and quality standards are met for outsourced tasks.
- Using critical thinking to organize and structure content for brochures and other materials in a logical, engaging way
- Developing materials that connect with target audiences while clearly conveying the intended message
- Assisting in the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to gather input for marketing initiatives and ensure alignment with business goals
- Tracking and analyzing content performance metrics, providing actionable insights to improve effectiveness and engagement

**_ Must haves:_**
- 3+ years in a marketing, communications, or content development role, preferably in a corporate B2B environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field is an asset.
- Certifications in SEO or digital marketing (e.g., HubSpot, Google Digital Marketing) are an asset
- Proficiency with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Salesforce)
- Familiarity with SEO principles, tools (e.g., SEMrush, Google Analytics), and best practices
- Experience with coordinating design projects and working with creative professionals
- Basic understanding of graphic design tools and principles
