**About You**

You are a conscientious and detail-oriented individual who maintains a high level of ethics and integrity. As part of the Global Trade Services team you will work with the business units to achieve growth objectives, while adhering to the corporate risk profile. An excellent communicator, you can also explain terms and conditions to others in a meaningful and simplified manner, and offer solutions to achieve the business objectives. In reviewing contracts, RFP’s, agreements and preparing contract trackers, you possess the ability to multitask, prioritize, and execute under tight deadlines.

**The Team**

Global Trade Services support the business units in meeting growth objectives. As we expand in new markets and enter new geographic territories, the variety and complexity of the agreements and business considerations widens. We are looking for a Contracts Manager to join the team to provide additional resources to the business units in support of the organization’s contract related matters. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated team working in a fast paced environment.

**The Role**
- Act as the key contact for the two business units seeking support with the review and negotiation of all types of commercial contracts, including, but not limited to: sales agreements, master services agreements, subcontractor agreements, software licenses, representative and distributor agreements, non-disclosure agreements
- Review incoming requests for proposal (RFPs), proposing revisions to contractual terms to mitigate identified legal and commercial risks requirements, and preparing compliance, legal, and financial documents to support the bids and proposal teams
- Prepare contract summaries, compliance matrices, and lists of contract clauses in contract trackers that identify key matters and provide insight, advice, guidance, and solutions to different stakeholders with respect to the contractual commitments (including identifying concerns, risks, exposures, and mitigation strategies)
- Review and negotiate corporate agreements and a variety of contract documents including service and lease agreements
- Facilitate the contract review and approval process in accordance with internal compliance and authority matrix, including the preparation and distribution of paperwork for signature and subsequent filing
- Track contractual flow down commitments and coordinate contract renewals and amendments
- Ensure the organization’s internal contract documents and templates are accurate and well maintained
- Research and analyze business and legal compliance requirements for new market opportunities

**What You Bring**
- Minimum seven (7) years of experience in contract administration, management, drafting, and negotiation
- Sound understanding of business, contracts, contracts governance, and contractual language
- Critical thinking skills and the ability to research, understand, and communicate implications of legal concepts, terms and conditions
- Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional attention to details and talents for accuracy and precision
- Superior reading, writing, and language skills
- Experience in the scientific sector or instrumentation industry would be an asset
