We are looking for an
** Inside Maintenance Supervisor** to join our London Residential Rentals Team The Inside Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the daily supervision of the Inside Maintenance team in executing day to day maintenance, turnover work, property inspections contractor service provisions and ensuring the customer experience meets the Sifton customer service philosophy. The Supervisor is focused on inside maintenance team members’ customer management and service integration and the Maintenance department’s support of the residential rental operational goals.

About the Role:

- Ensure that maintenance requests are resolved in a timely manner and that work order records are maintained accurately in Salesforce. Follow-up with residents about status of requests or repairs to ensure open communication with tenants.
- Establish priorities for maintenance requests based on urgency and work with the Maintenance Manager for high level items. Follow up with the residents on the status of non-routine or emergency work orders. Weekly review unresolved maintenance requests with the Maintenance Manager.
- Ready all turnover suites for occupancy which involves conducting move-out inspections, coordinating inside maintenance technicians, scheduling work with trades and contractors, adhering to designated Suite Spec and inspecting units before occupancy.
- Provide support to the Inside Maintenance Technicians with on-call requirements, including after hours, weekends, holidays, etc.
- Ensure maintenance contracts for all building equipment, including generators, boilers, fire safety equipment, HVAC, waste disposal, laundry equipment, are carried out as planned and well documented as part of the Preventative Maintenance & Service Program.
- Supervise, schedule, and train Inside Maintenance Technicians and team members.

Experience & Qualifications:

- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in property management, renovations, plumbing, painting, and general inside maintenance and related activities.
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience supervising a team with the support of their manager.
- Experience with energy, waste and green technologies in building management is an asset.
- Proven success with customer relationship management and positive approach to ensuring high level of customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work independently when required but also within a group of others such as Leasing agents, Maintenance teams and Administrative teams.
- Collaborative supervisory skills with an ability to motivate, coach, direct and demonstrate the work required of Building Managers, and Maintenance teams.
- Strong communication skills, ability to communicate professionally and respectfully both verbally and written.
- Working knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act, Fire Code, and Occupational Health & Safety Act.
- Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and other related computer programs.
- Ability to manage time effectively, demonstrate flexibility and prioritize workload.
- Available for on-call as needed.
