We are recruiting a Finance Manager for an 8-month contract, the position could become full-time.

Reporting to the CFO you are comfortable taking responsibility for all aspects of Financial Services. This includes yearend completion and file preparation, managing all requirements of the external accountants, full-cycle accounting and completion of month ends, operational reporting, financial reporting and all aspects of internal controls and business system improvements.

Experience being responsible for the completion of month ends and yearends is a definite asset.

**Qualifications**

CPA and 10+ years of relevant experience at increasing levels of responsibility.

Public practice (Big 4) experience is a definite asset.

Proven experience planning and completing yearend accounting requirements.

Proven experience managing all requirements of the external accountants and CRA tax filings.

Proven experience with monthly financial reporting and operational reporting.

Strong knowledge of business systems, best practices and emerging technologies.

A self-starter that is expected to bring ideas forward for consideration.

In order to deliver superior customer service exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are required.

Experience with manufacturing and standard cost accounting is an asset.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 8 months

Pay: $10,000.00-$11,000.00 per month
