Guest Service Agent

Check-in/check-out hotel guests in a timely and professional manner; process all payments according to established procedures to ensure guest satisfaction.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the hotel
- Check guests in and out, ensuring all necessary information is obtained and recorded accurately
- Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
- Handle guest complaints or concerns, escalating to management when necessary
- Process payments and maintain accurate records of guest transactions
- Respond appropriately to guest requests; promotes hotel services, facilities, and outlets; provide guests with information such as local attractions and directions to increase satisfaction
- Communicate any outstanding guest requests or issues to management that may require additional monitoring or follow-up
- Assist with reservations and room assignments
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Other duties as required
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent, plus one-year front desk/customer service experience is preferred
- Must speak fluent English
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling guest information and transactions
This job requires the ability to perform the following:
- Frequently standing up behind the desk and front office area
- Remain stationary for extended period
- Proficiency in using computer systems, including reservation software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Handling objects, products, and computer equipment
- Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with guests and employees
- Basic math skills are used frequently
- May be required to work weekends, and/or holidays as we are in operation 24/7 - 365 days a year
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $17.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
