Rubber Mill Operator

Duties of this position are detailed below.
- Full operation of a banbury and two roll open mill system.
- Weighing different ingredients following a formula sheet.
- Carefully handling rubber at high temperatures.
- Unloading rubber from the Mill system.
- Operating a forklift to move parts in the facility and to pull ingredients down when needed.
- Operating an extruding system and guiding the rubber into storage.
- Able to lift 50 pounds routinely throughout the day.
- Ability to follow written instructions thoroughly
- Ability to read and follow Safe Operating Procedures
- Ability to read and understand SDS for different products that will be in use and how best to handle them.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.

**Salary**: $22.00-$35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift

**Experience**:

- Machine Operator: 3 years (preferred)
