Balance and audit for accuracy all room revenue and tax charges, cashiers reports, guest and house accounts
- Complete and transmit daily management and accounting reports and supporting documents; prepare customer tracking report, market segmentation report and other audit reports necessary to ensure the accurate accounting of hotel revenues and that the flow is in order
- Communicate with other hotel departments as necessary to resolve accounting discrepancies and to request or provide information
- Perform all functions of a Guest Service Agent
- Answer telephones and guest inquiries
- Offer assistance to guests in regards to hotel amenities and nearby attractions (restaurants, attractions, directions, transportation, etc.)
- Handle all guest requests promptly and effectively
- Establish and maintain rapport with guest during check in and duration of stay
- Problem-solving guests’ concerns and proactively exceeding guest expectations
- Ensure that the accounting system and cash are in balance at the start of the shift
- Ensure that all credit card entries are captured and posted properly
- Verify that there are no discrepancies between the credit card system and accounting system.
- Count cash floats at the beginning of shift, balance credit cards and cash at the end of shift.
- Prepare “Express” checkouts, programs wake-up calls
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- At least 1 year hotel night audit experience required
- Proficient in the English language (verbal and written); second language an asset.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and administration skills.
- Ability to work overnight shift (11p - 7am, varying throughout weekdays, weekends & holidays)
- Present a high degree of professional work ethic and image.
- Able to take control of situation and problem solve.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week
