**NIGHT AUDITOR**

Holiday Inn Burlington & Conference Centre is seeking to hire someone who has
exceptional guest service skills and who is extremely organized and takes pride in their
work.

**JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Making guest reservations on the phone or in person, checking guests in & out of the Hotel following all IHG standards
- Accurate balancing of daily accounting functions
- Accurate entering of daily transactions into Google Sheet Documents and troubleshooting when off balance
- Processing credit card, debit and cash transactions
- Accurate maintenance of daily floats and deposits
- Problem-solving guest concerns or proactively exceeding guest expectations
- Providing guests with information about hotel rooms, amenities, services and local attractions
- Responding promptly to all requests by guests and employees and informing managers of maintenance deficiencies, guest concerns or service issues through effective communication
- Follow all shift checklist procedures
- Ensuring the work environment is tidy and well organized at all times
- Adheres to all health and safety guidelines and standards
- Adheres to all internal audit and Holiday Inn standards requirements
- Provide exceptional guest service to hotel guests at all times
- Maintain integrity, the highest caliber of customer service and respect to our guests and staff
- Conduct security rounds, inside and outside the hotel
- Dealing with, Emergency Response, Maintenance, Health & Safety and Fire Prevention related issues.
- Ensures company policies and procedures are adhered to
- Complete a nightly report

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- Hotel experience and Knowledge of Opera PMS is an asset
- Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and owners in professional manner.
- Proficiency in Microsoft products and Google Sheets
- Excellent communication skills in English (French or other languages an
- asset)
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and administration skills
- Proficient or familiar with computerized system including spreadsheets
- Ability to work within and meet deadlines. Proven ability to manage multitasked assignments
- Demonstrated knowledge of guest/customer service
- Available to work overnight shifts any day of the week including weekends and Holidays

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Night shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
