**About Us**:
The Waddling Dog Pub is a vibrant and fast-paced bar known for its long history of being one of Victoria’s favourite watering holes. We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Bar Manager to join our team and help elevate our guest experience.

**Job Summary**:
As the Bar Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the pub, ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining a high standard of quality in all FOH operations, and leading a team of talented servers, bartenders and support staff. You will be key in driving sales, managing inventory, and creating a positive and professional environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead, train, and motivate pub staff to deliver outstanding customer service.
- Collaborate with the Chef on monthly features, promotional ideas and new ways to elevate the operation of the pub.
- Oversee staffing and ensure smooth, professional and efficient service
- Maintain inventory levels, place orders, and help manage supplier relationships.
- Monitor and manage costs, including labor and beverage costs, to ensure profitability.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including liquor laws.
- Create and manage staff schedules to ensure efficient operation.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional manner.
- Collaborate with management on marketing initiatives and special events to drive bar revenue.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Bar Manager or in a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, beer, and wine.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Certification in Serving It Right or equivalent.
