**Location**: VERNON DRIVE- VANCOUVER BC

**Shift**: Full-Time, 9.00 AM to 5.30 PM Monday to Sunday schedule one weekend shift compulsory.

At Yen Bros, we are a leading food service provider specializing in the distribution of grocery and produce items. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Inside Sales and Order Desk Representative to join our team. If you excel in customer service, have strong communication skills, and are familiar with grocery and produce products, we would love to have you on board.

**Position Overview**:
As an Inside Sales and Order Desk Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our customers over the phone. You will be responsible for taking and processing orders accurately, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring that all customer needs are met in a timely and professional manner.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Answer inbound phone calls and take customer orders for grocery and produce items.
- Process orders accurately in the company’s order management system.
- Provide product recommendations and answer any customer inquiries regarding availability, pricing, and product details.
- Communicate effectively with customers to ensure order accuracy and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of grocery and produce items to assist customers with their needs.
- Ensure all orders are processed and confirmed in a timely manner.
- Provide excellent customer service by managing expectations and resolving issues professionally.
- Ensure proper documentation and record keeping for all orders.
- Work collaboratively with team members and other departments to meet customer demands.
- Perform other administrative tasks as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in an inside sale, order desk, or customer service role, preferably in the food service or grocery industry.
- Strong communication skills with excellent telephone etiquette.
- Proficient in computer skills and familiarity with order management systems.
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail when inputting orders.
- Basic knowledge of grocery and produce items is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability to work weekend shifts on a full-time basis.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a customer-centric approach.
