Hotshot Coffee Sleeves is looking for an individual to join our team running our folder gluer and/or flatbed die cutting machine. Hotshot produces high quality custom branded cup sleeves for both Canadian and USA customers. This position is for full time on a Monday - Friday schedule. **FOLDER GLUER** - Operating straight line folder gluer to produce coffee sleeves for take out coffee cups - Strip out paper sleeves from pre-diecut press sheets while the machine is running (some jobs may be pre-stripped but the majority will not) - Setup machine for different sizes of sleeves - Fill, clean and maintain both cold glue and hot glue systems on machine - When reading production sheets must pay close attention to detail with regards to job specifications. Must read English. **DIE CUTTER (large flatbed)** - Operating Bobst style flat bed die cutter (Max paper size of machine is 31") - Perform die cutting and embossing operations - Change dies for different jobs - Set up new dies for new projects - Operate hand held stripper to strip off waste around die cut pieces **OTHER DUTIES MAY INCLUDE** - Perform maintenance and cleaning on machine and replace parts when necessary - Operating 45" Polar programmable cutter - Lifting and handling sheets up to 28" x 40" - Using hand pallet jack to move pallets of paper around (using forklift if qualified as well) - Preparing pallets for shipping - Possible training on other bindery/packaging equipment **Applicants must meet the following requirements**: - Must be mechanically inclined in order to troubleshoot issues and make small repairs when needed - Have experience working in a printing company/bindery running die cutters, folder gluers, or larger bindery equipment. - Must have good English reading and writing skills - Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs Salary is based on experience.
