**Qualifications**:

- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Licensed with the College of Audiologists & Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO).
- Previous experience with assessment and management of swallowing and communication disorders in an acute care setting is required- Experience with Surgical patients is required
- Experience with Oncology and Palliative care patients is highly preferred
- Current experience with video fluoroscopic swallowing studies (VFSS) is required
- Certification in MBSImp (for video fluoroscopic swallow studies) is preferred. If not MBSImp certified, then willingness to become certified is required.- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development, including clinical education with students and/or mentorship of Initial Practice Registrants.- Must have excellent communication, organizational and teamwork skills and be self-directed in a changing work environment, including multiple work settings to support clinical needs hospital-wide- Must have demonstrated initiative and ability to make timely professional decisions
