_PSW, caregiver, or RPN in private Oakville home for male with ALS. Permanent Part time. Evenings 9-11, flexible days of week, 2-4 shifts per week, some will be weekends. Students in these programs are welcome to apply, foreign trained nurses also considered. Must have Social Insurance Number. Car required_ _, NOT a cash job, NO sponsorship, NO Agencies_

Must be fully vaccinated (3) against covid

Patient has ALS, a great sense of humour, uses a wheelchair, and requires assistance with all Activities of Daily Living. He is non-verbal and uses technology to communicate.

**About You**:
We seek a quick learner who can manage the physical nature of caring for somebody who cannot move or speak on his own, and once trained, can take initiative and follow the routine independently. Experience as a nurse or PSW is helpful but not required, but related caregiver experience is necessary.

**THE SHIFTS ARE **EVENINGS, 3-4 evenings per week, will include some weekends. 9-11 PM**

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:

- bedtime routine: ceiling lift transfer, meds via g-tube, full body range of motion exercises
- Training provided

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $22.00 per hour
