Psw/rpn: Oakville, Private Care, Short Shifts 9-11 Pm, 2-5 Shifts Per Week

_**Please ONLY APPLY IF you meet the following criteria**:_ - _**You can drive to Oakville (if you live in Brampton, it's too far)**_ - _**You are available 2-5 evenings per week from 9PM-11PM. This will include some weekend evenings. These are 2-hour shifts.**_ - _**You are reliable, and can commit to at least 6 months with us**_ - _**You understand this is not a cash job - all income will be declared**_ - _**You are already living in the Oakville/Mississauga/Burlington /Milton area**_ - PSW, caregiver, or RPN in private Oakville home for male with ALS. _**Evenings 9PM-11PM, 2-5 shifts per week, some will be weekends**_. Students in these programs are welcome to apply, foreign trained nurses also considered. We do not pay cash and don't use agencies. Please note we are a single family residence, not a facility or an agency. We don't offer sponsorship._ You must be fully vaccinated against COVID to be hired with us. **THE JOB: Patient has ALS, uses a wheelchair, and requires assistance with all Activities of Daily Living. He is unable to speak and uses technology to communicate.** **THE SHORT SHIFTS ARE 2 HOURS LONG. We need you anywhere from 2-5 evenings per week, will include some weekends. Days of work each week are different, but shifts are 9PM-11 PM** **JOB DUTIES**: - bedtime routine: change clothes, brush teeth using suction machine, ceiling lift transfer, meds via g-tube, full body range of motion exercises, cough assist - Paid training provided - No toileting **Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent Pay: $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 4 - 10 per week Additional pay: - Bonus pay **Benefits**: - Casual dress - On-site parking Flexible language requirement: - French not required Application question(s): - DID YOU READ THE JOB DESCRIPTION? : Job is NOT CASH, is part time, SHIFTS ARE 2 HOURS LONG and there are 2-4 shifts per week, in a private home, in Oakville.
