We are recruiting for an Industrial Fire Technicians to support First Response and its Fire, Hazmat, Rescue and Medical pillars, a Canadian business unit under Amipbar Response.

**Responsibilities**:

- IMT of fire systems at our clients’ locations.
- Respond to emergency situations to protect people, the environment, and property from all types of accidents and emergencies.
- Inspect and monitor confined spaces, work at heights as required and ensure rescue and fire equipment is inspected and maintained.
- Work within a team environment to complete truck and equipment checks.
- Provide emergency Fire, Hazmat, Rescue and Medical care and other related services at the scene of an emergency, accident, disaster, or mass casualty incident.
- Transport patients to safety during an emergency
- Attend and be active internal and worksite meetings.
- Complete hazard assessments and rescue plans
- Train within your crew

**Compensation & Details**:

- Work Locations: British Columbia and Alberta
- Pre-employment D&A testing is a condition of employment.
- Job type - Full time
- Schedule - Day and night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 7/7, 14/14
- Supplemental pay types - Overtime, LOA, paid travel

**Qualifications required**:

- Knowledge of industrial fire systems
- Physically fit and capable of performing rescue
- ICS 100
- Valid class 5 driver’s license with 6 or less points.
- NFPA 1001, 1081, 1006, 472, H2S Alive
- Vehicle extrication
- Industrial experience will be essential. 3-10 years’ experience
- Working knowledge with the following programs - Microsoft 365, Google, WhatsApp
