Vancouver, Canada Nomad Fire Protection Ltd Full time

Nomad Fire Protection Ltd is seeking senior fire technicians to join our team.

Pay: $40-$45 per hr

**Qualifications**:

- ASTTBC certification in fire extinguishers, emergency lights, fire alarm and sprinklers preferred
- Backflow Preventor Certification preferred
- Valid drivers license

**Responsibilities**:

- Annual Fire Inspections as per BC Fire Code and all applicable CAN/ULC/NFPA
- Trouble shoot and repair all makes and models of fire alarm panels
- After hours emergency on call rotation
- Complete daily schedules in a timely fashion
- Carry out fire alarm device replacement
- Lift and handle field devices i.e. fire extinguishers (40lb)
- Lead large inspections from start to finish with helper
- Mentor new techs

Work hours
- Full-Time, Permanent
- Monday to Friday
- 8-hour shifts
- After hours emergency on call rotation

**Experience**:

- alarm technician: 4 years (preferred)
