We are seeking a skilled and motivated manager to lead our Packaging department in achieving strategic and tactical goals aligned with our company's objectives. As the Packaging Manager, you will play a pivotal role in setting the direction and driving the success of the packaging teams across all shifts and locations. Your expertise and leadership will be instrumental in guiding the team towards achieving operational excellence and optimizing packaging processes. In this role, you will have the opportunity to coach, motivate, and develop employees and supervisors, fostering a high-performance culture.

**In this role, you will**:

- Provide direction, support, and motivation to Packaging teams across shifts and locations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Support and coach staff on night shifts, addressing challenges and issues as they arise.
- Manage performance and develop a formal succession plan for reporting staff in collaboration with the Senior Manager.
- Develop and track annual budgets for effective resource allocation in the Packaging department.
- Analyze capacity requirements and optimize operational efficiency through staffing and cross-training.
- Lead safety and continuous improvement projects, fostering a positive environment and prioritizing employee well-being.
- Collaborate with other departments to manage preventative maintenance schedules and maximize productivity.
- Implement operational systems and processes, monitoring progress and overcoming obstacles.
- Monitor key metrics to ensure efficient completion of tasks.

**You have**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of management experience in manufacturing. Familiarity with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) standards is an asset.
- Knowledge and experience with human resources practices is an asset.
- Experience in Lean manufacturing tools (5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, SMED, Visual management, etc.); Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt preferred.
