As a valued member of our team, reporting directly to the Manager, Members’ Services you will collaborate closely with a dynamic group of Finance professionals**.** **What You’ll Do**: **You’ll act with integrity to**: - To recover and record all funds received for the Legislative Assembly; prepare an analysis of Accounts Receivable and Revenue Fund for Public Accounts. - Make deposits; compile and submit taxes following appropriate policy and procedures. - Prepare accounts receivable invoicing for all funds owing to the Assembly on a timely basis (Ministry and PA salaries, staff salary transfers, overpayments, secondments, and Gift Shop recoveries). - Perform collections/follow-up of all outstanding invoices, including coordinating salary collections for both staff and Members’ salaries with Financial Analysts. - Monitor, record, and submit monthly HST. Provide support to all staff of the Assembly on HST issues. - Prepares and delivers bank deposits and prepares and inputs records of all funds received by the Assembly on a timely basis. - Issue T4As by the prescribed deadline.
