As we grow, we’re investing in lead generation by adding a key new team member to support our sales efforts.
About the Role
This is **not** an Account Executive or insurance sales role. You won’t be quoting or placing insurance policies. Instead, you’ll focus entirely on **prospecting and engaging commercial business decision-makers**, starting conversations, and booking qualified meetings for our Account Executives to take forward.
You’ll be part of a high-performance environment, work alongside experienced commercial insurance professionals, and receive coaching and support to help you succeed. The role is ideal for someone who’s organized, confident making outreach, and enjoys building rapport — without the pressure of closing deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and research mid-market commercial prospects across Ontario
- Start meaningful conversations with decision-makers
- Qualify leads and book introductory meetings for our Account Executives
- Build and maintain prospect lists in our CRM
- Collaborate with the sales team on outreach strategies by industry segment
- Share insights from conversations to improve messaging and targeting
- **This is a lead development role — you will not be responsible for quoting or placing insurance policies**
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in lead generation, inside sales, or outbound B2B communication
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable speaking with business owners and executives
- Motivated, self-managed, and goal-oriented
- Tech-savvy and able to manage CRM and outreach tools
- Able to adjust communication style to connect with a wide range of industries
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with commercial insurance or other B2B services
- Experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator or CRM platforms
Schedule
- Part-time
- In-office presence required 3 days per week (Barrie, ON)
- Flexibility with working hours
