Crane Operator

We are looking for a crane operator to safely operate a brand new tower crane on a construction site. You will work closely with construction workers & ground operators to complete your daily duties. You will also perform equipment inspections & repairs on a regular basis.
To succeed in this role, you should have hands-on experience with cranes & building materials. Problem-solving & attention to detail are also must-have skills for you so that you can adapt to different weather conditions & settings. Previous experience as a crane operator, accuracy, attention to detail & relevant certification are required; Apprentice certification accepted.
Your duties will include, but not limited to, operating cranes and hoists, transfer loads to construction sites & discharge safely, bind loads to cranes, inspect equipment & machinery, maintain an up-to-date maintenance & activity log, carry out basic repairs to machines, set up machinery based on complex manuals, coordinate with ground operators & interpret hand & verbal signals, while following safety guidelines and protocols. As an apprentice these duties are performed under the direction of certified operator.
**Salary**: $20.00-$40.00 per hour
