Rendan Fabricators Ltd., part of the AGF Group Inc., is a Nova Scotia leader in the design, manufacture and installation of reinforcing. We are currently looking for a general labourer / machine operator to support our operations team (day).

**Details**:

- Position: Overhead Crane Operator / General Labourer
- Salary: 19$ to 22$ per hour, yearly salary revision based on performance
- Hours: 7h to 16h30 (45 hours / week)
- Permanent, Full time

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Operate overhead crane, bar bending and sheer machines (training provided)
- Reading and following instructions on the bar lists provided in order to fabricate rebar based on specific specifications.
- Assisting equipment operators in material handling
- Affixing tags to fabricated bundles for identification purposes
- Assist in other assigned tasks as required
- Assisting in housekeeping duties for the yard and shop

**General Skills**:
**Requirements**:

- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role in manufacturing
- Experience in operating an overhead crane
- Basic math/measurement skills (an asset)
- Ability to learn various types of manufacturing equipment
- Ability to work in physically - lift/move up to 50lbs
- Multi-tasking and strong capacity for teamwork
