As part of the North American Supply Planning organization, under the direction of the Sr. Manager - End to End Supply Planning, the Supply Chain Planner II - Supply is responsible for the development, planning and implementation of the supply plan for the Canadian business segment. This involves providing leadership within the team and being an active participant in cross functional forums to achieve exceptional business results. Manages a complex and/or high volume portfolio, including the balancing and management of inventory, customer service requirements, and total cost to meet finished goods demand with optimized total delivered costs [TDC]. Manages inventory for new product launches, disposition of slow moving and obsolete finished goods, and developing and driving continuous & process improvement initiatives across the supply chain that creates capacity, reduces inventory and/or improves service.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Development, planning and implementation of the supply plan to meet finished good demand at optimized TDC. Analyzes complex information to make judgements and decisions.
Develop production (rough cut) & inventory plans to meet finished goods demand via internal & co-pack operations network.
Evaluate slow moving materials and excess inventories. Recommend and implement corrective action plans
Daily management and problem-solving of supply and inventory plan variances, including unexpected demand, to ensure appropriate communication and actions with customer service, sales planning, marketing, operations and the customers as appropriate.
Serves as the Supply Chain lead on cross-functional customer/business teams charged with business development, operational excellence and capacity development; recommends, leads and operationalizes process improvements and cost reduction opportunities
Proactively participates and engages in driving supply planning execution of new business opportunities, including new products and product discontinuations, and identify process efficiencies and improvements to optimize these opportunities
Formal (direct reports) and informal leadership within the supply planning team

**Required Qualifications**:
Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or related field required
APICS CPIM preferred

**5-7 years experience in Supply Chain**: Supply Planning, Materials Mgmt, Logistics, Operations, Customer Service or a related field required. Demonstrated significant and relevant skill in fucntional area with leadership experience.
Demonstrated ability to analyze, trouble-shoot, problem solve and resolve complex issues.
Requires demonstrated success leading and championing substantive business plan recommendations for senior divisional leadership. Ability to translate strategy into actionable information in a clear, concise and professional manner.
Ability to manage larger projects and/or process improvement initiatives with cross functional teams using advanced analytics, influencing & leadership skills required
Strong communication and diplomacy skills to guide and influence others. Requires organizational, coaching and team work skills.

**Proficiency with MS Excel, Power Point, Word, and ERP (eg**: SAP) required
Demonstrated proficiency with PPDS Optimizer preferred
