Overview:
**Responsibilities**:
- Act as the main point of contact for a portfolio of internal clients for recruitment requests.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with a dedicated client group.
- Design, lead and manage full cycle recruitment (internally and externally).
- Provide timely communication and updates to hiring leaders on the progress of recruitment.
- Ensure related articles within the collective agreement are considered and consistently applied throughout the recruitment and selection process.
- Remain current in the field of talent acquisition and highlight emerging trends and practices.
Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in a related field.
- Three years of corporate recruitment experience.
- Experience in a unionized environment is an asset.
- Ability to build positive working relationships and provide exceptional customer service.
- Ability to source and select top talent, including leveraging multiple talent attraction channels.
- Strong knowledge of talent acquisition best practices, employment practices and human resources legislation.
- Proficiency with related technology including web recruitment tools and social media.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple urgent tasks and deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
