St.Amant is a non-profit organization, offering programs & services throughout Manitoba which support over 1600 children and adults with developmental disabilities and autism, and their families. **Position Summary and Scope of Service**:

Reporting to the Manager, Volunteer Services & Community Connections and consistent with the Mission, Values, and policies of St.Amant, the Supervisor, Volunteer Services is a critical role in ensuring the success of St.Amant business and operations. The Supervisor, Volunteer Services works collaboratively with partnered programs while offering employees respectful customer service and ensuring that person-centered, holistic and inclusive opportunities are available to the people we support and to volunteers.
The Supervisor, Volunteer Services assists the Manager, Volunteer Services & Community Connections in all facets of volunteer management in order to achieve the goals and objectives of St.Amant. The Supervisor, Volunteer Services recruits, interviews, screens, places, supervises and supports volunteers and follows up on volunteer absences. The Supervisor, Volunteer Services assists in the arrangement and execution of suitable volunteer recognition initiatives and provides administrative support.

**Qualifications**:
**Educational**
- Grade 12 Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalency required
- At least 3-years' experience in volunteer services program with some experience in a leadership role
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
**Professional**
- Previous experience working with volunteers is an asset, especially in relation to interviewing and supervising and in a non-profit organization
- Commitment to a collaborative team approach to service delivery and use
- Experience working with youth and new Canadians preferred
- Familiarity with individuals with developmental disabilities is desirable
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of Better Impact a definite asset
- Working knowledge of online platforms, troubleshooting, problem solving and tech support
- Ability to manage and prioritize a variety of tasks and function in a busy, high volume office with frequent interruptions
**Licenses, Registrations**:
- Affiliation with Volunteer Management Professionals of Canada preferred
**Personal**:
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision and to be a collaborative team player in a team environment
- Strong interpersonal, public speaking and communication (oral and written) skills; able to adapt communications depending on the audience
- Ability to work evenings and weekends is required
- Ability to generate ideas to improve work procedures and contribute to an environment that fosters growth, development and innovation
- Superb interpersonal ability to establish and maintain positive and productive working relationships with humility and self-awareness

- Knowledge/familiarity with person-centered approach and family-centered practice
- Knowledge/familiarity with the Canadian Code of Volunteer Involvement is an asset

- Able to adapt and cope with change and support teams through a change initiative
- Familiar and proficient in Microsoft Office suite and virtual communication tools (e.g., Zoom, Teams, etc.)
