**Position Overview**

We are seeking a dedicated **Health & Safety Coordinator** to manage and enhance our workplace health and safety program. This role is key in ensuring compliance with Alberta OHS legislation while fostering a safe, efficient work environment.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies in alignment with Alberta OHS legislation.
- Conduct regular workplace inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
- Organize and facilitate employee safety training sessions.
- Investigate workplace incidents, identifying root causes and recommending corrective and preventative measures.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of incidents, inspections, and training.
- Serve as the point of contact with external safety agencies and regulatory bodies.
- Provide ongoing reports to management regarding safety performance and regulatory compliance.

**Qualifications**
- Alberta OHS Certificate or Diploma (required)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a health and safety role, ideally within a manufacturing or food-processing setting
- In-depth knowledge of Alberta OHS legislation and best practices
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership abilities
- Capable of working independently as well as within a team
- Proficient with computers and digital systems for documentation and reporting

**Compensation & Benefits**
