Fleet Safety Compliance Coordinator

**Position Summary**
Responsible for evaluating employees on their skills to ensure they have the skillset to operate our assets. Be involved through regular operator communications and responsible for creating solid relationships within our team so they feel comfortable asking for support.
**Position Responsibilities**
- Provide quality hands on training to operators and participate in the implementation, execution, and maintenance of the training program to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal SOPs and Organization guidelines and policies.
- Develop, maintain, and coordinate specific site training programs for all new and existing employees which will ensure operators are consistently trained, and prepared for upgrading license class and operating equipment competently.
- Ensure that appropriate health and safety provisions are incorporated into all work performed on site and in the field, while working with the Operations and Safety departments.
- Conduct technical training including but not limited to Forklift, Picker Truck, Basic Rigging, Cargo Securement, Trailering, Daily Trip Inspections, Hours of Service, etc.
- Conduct evaluations, observations, and random spot checks. Provide on the job training, completing necessary documentation.
- Guide, motivate and support employees and contribute to a workplace culture where people are set up for success with their work, aligning with Go Services Inc. values.
**Qualifications**
- Minimum 10 years of Commercial Transportation Industry experience
- Class 1 License
- 3-5 years of training or supervisory experience skills
- Thorough knowledge of National Safety Code, with an understanding of Standards, Codes, and Regulations.
- Ability to benchmark, measure, analyze data and articulate the value of risk management initiatives, practices, and policies.
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
- Ability to identify areas of improvement and implement changes.
- Ability to motivate and direct individuals within all levels of the organization towards continuous improvement.
- Certified Train the Trainer certifications would be an asset.
**Salary**: $58,734.00-$63,752.00 per year
