We are seeking a dedicated Health and Safety Coordinator to ensure compliance with Alberta Occupational Health and Safety standards, strengthen our workplace safety culture, and support the well-being of our employees.

**Position Objective**

To maintain and oversee health and safety program, ensuring compliance with regulations and promoting a safe, efficient workplace.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies and procedures in compliance with Alberta OHS legislation.
- Conduct regular workplace inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
- Coordinate and deliver employee safety training programs.
- Investigate workplace incidents and recommend corrective/preventative actions.
- Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, inspections, and training.
- Act as a liaison with external safety agencies and regulators.
- Report regularly to management on health and safety performance and compliance.

**Qualifications**
- Alberta OHS Certificate or Diploma required.
- Minimum 3 years experience in a health and safety role, preferably in a manufacturing or food-processing environment.
- Strong knowledge of Alberta OHS legislation and workplace safety practices.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong computer skills for record keeping and reporting.

**Compensation & Benefits**
