**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Connect and direct students to program departments, campus partners and college support, or refer to tier 2 advising
- Collaborate with the International Student Advisor (ISA) to assist with developing recovery plans and documenting communications
- Ensure accurate communication distribution to students and staff using a variety of communication tools and programs
- Assistance/advisement including but not limited to; dropping/adding classes/selecting alternative courses; timetable selection; transfer credits and advanced standing; course conditions; academic appeals; student issue forms; graduation requirements; program changes and withdrawals
- Review Beacon alerts and communicate with students and advisors as required, and proactively update the ISA for students at risk of failing
- Collaborate with office administrators to review program reports and prioritize issues for ISA’s

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum Two (2) year college diploma
- Professional, approachable, and customer service focused
- Strong communication, organizational skills with keen attention to detail
- Proven problem-solving skills and adaptability
- Proficient computer skills particularly with Microsoft Excel, Adobe, Word, MYNC portal and Blackboard
- The ability to adhere to strict confidentiality policy
- Must be able to multi-task and prioritize work in a demanding and dynamic environment
- Proven communication skills with others utilizing empathy, compassion, and respect
- Previous experience working in International Student Services and/or prior knowledge of college services, locations, and referrals, including advising is preferred
