Producer, Digital Content

**True North Sports + Entertainment is looking for creative and dynamic individual to join our team.**

The **Producer, Digital Content **is responsible for creating best-in-class social media content across team-owned channels with an eye towards maximizing exposure, increasing followers, growing engagement and partnership opportunities through creative, innovative, and well-timed digital content. The position will collaborate with the social team to develop content for team coverage, special events, corporate partnerships, community initiatives, and more.

**What to be excited for in this role**:

- This role will help serve the marketing objective of growing the next generation of Jets fans and generate revenue for the organization through the creation of branded content distributed across our social media.
- In collaboration with the marketing team, edit and produce both linear and paid social ads.
- Attend, shoot, produce and edit content from Winnipeg Jets community initiatives
- Edit videos during and after Winnipeg Jets games, practices, and special events when needed.
- Assist in the editing of longer form video pieces.
- Work to create unique and innovative concepts for each social platform as they relate to game days, non-game days, community events, press conferences and offseason strategies
- Create motion graphics as needed to elevate video content.
- Works closely with teams across the organization such as game production, graphic design, marketing, to generate content that helps achieve TNSE organizational priorities.
- Checks all content for accuracy before completing.
- Other duties as assigned.

**What we need from you**:

- 1-2 years of experience with video editing.
- Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects)
- Experience creating and understanding of paid social ads.
- Strong understanding of social media best practices, social platforms and different ways to utilize those platforms to engage fans and build a community.
- Comprehensive understanding of editing processes, colour correction, and compression.
- Experience editing in a team environment.
- Experience with podcasts a plus.
- Graphic design is considered an asset.
- Sports experience is a plus but not required.
- Understanding of hockey, the NHL, hockey culture and language, vocabulary and jargon used in the sport of hockey.
- Experience operating and shooting with Sony cameras a plus.
- Experience creating and understanding of linear ads a plus.
- Flexibility to work long hours, evenings, weekends as necessary
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with superior attention to detail
- Must be able to stand for a long period of time and navigate Canada Life Centre on game days.
- Project a professional image in all interactions with fans, corporate partners and TNSE executives.
