Pediatric cardiac sonographer to assist 3 pediatric cardiologists and 2 other sonographers in performing cardiac echo's on children from 0-17 years of age. Fetal echo experience a plus as 20% of our patients are pregnancy related consultations. Training will be offered to eager applicants.

Must have a child and family friendly personality and ability to work with other team members including admin staff and nurses.

Currently we are using a Phillips CVX and Phillips Epiq 5 for fetal and pediatric studies as well as a new Voluson E10 fetal dedicated ultrasound platform. We use Vidistar as our reporting system which is extremely flexible and easy to learn. Families and children are made extremely comfortable during their studies. Close communication between cardiologist and sonographer to achieve the desired imaging.

We are the largest pediatric and fetal cardiac practice in North Central and East GTA in Toronto serving the surrounding 905 and more distant regions North and East of the city.

We see over 7500 patients a year in our newly renovated office. We provide support for CME in both fetal and pediatric cardiology.

We prefer sonographers with previous pediatric and or fetal experience of at least 2 years in Canada. You will have trained at an accredited program in Canada or an equivalent international program. You must have Canadian citizenship or permanent residency status in Canada and be registered with the College of Medical Technologists of Ontario as well as Sonography Canada. Registration with ARDMS is accepted.
