**About The Role: Ensuring Excellence and Driving Quality**

**Responsibilities**:

- Support the Regional QA Manager with the implementation and maintenance of Quality Assurance Programs. (HACCP, Feed Assure, Nutrace - Nutreco’s feed to food safety program)
- Supports the communication of quality programs and standards to the organization and may coordinate training in relevant areas
- Assist with compliance throughout the production process with the relevant SOPs and standards in accordance with the organization's guidelines
- Assist with customer complaint investigations, including identification and implementation of corrective actions
- Coordinate monthly food safety meetings
- Coordinate mixer CVs, flush validation, and carryover and drug residue testing.
- Coordinate yearly mock recalls
- Support the locations with the sample submission process and ensure compliance with the monthly sampling schedules
- Assist the Quality Assurance Manager, N AB, during internal, external and customer audits and government inspections
- Support local and regional monitoring & control programs in close alignment with the Regional Quality Control Manager
- Other duties as required

**Skills and Expertise**

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary education in an area of related study or equivalent working experiences
- 2+ years’ experience in the agriculture industry, food industry, or manufacturing setting is an asset
- Familiarity with the tools, concepts, and methodologies of quality management
- Understanding of HACCP, Standard Operating Procedures, and Quality Processes
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement and be results-oriented.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong facilitation, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
- Computer proficiency with the entire **MS Office suite is a must **- proficiency in Excel is an asset

**Expectation from Role**:

- Ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Creative problem-solving ability and forward-thinking abilities
- Must have own reliable vehicle to travel from plant to plant
