**Role Status**: Full time: Seasonal - Hourly

**Role Overview**:
Working together with the terrain park staff to prep, build and refurbish all the terrain park features for the upcoming winter. This includes welding damaged rails, boxes, wall rides and other jib. You will be also working with the Terrain Park Manager on building out new terrain park features for the coming season. You will also be preparing rail packages to develop

**What You Will Do**:

- Repairing any broken terrain park features
- Re-furbishing all sliding surfaces - includes grinding and painting.
- Replacing all broken wooden panels.
- Replace any broken arena board on boxes and wall rides
- Using internal ordering system to purchase all necessary shop supplies
- Track all purchases
- Other duties as required

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
- Possess strong riding or skiing ability.
- Welding experience with MIG and TIG welders
- Able to use an angle grinder with various abrasion wheels
- Able to use acetylene torch with various tips
- Carpentry experience
- Able to use skill saw, chop saw, drill press, impact gun and various related tools.
- Simple math skills
- Machine operator experience (not required but strong asset)
- Ability to move heavy large items
- Able to work mínimal to no supervision

Working Conditions

The Terrain Park Welder are to perform all of their duties outdoors and in a shop. When working outdoors you may be exposed to many different weather conditions. The shop contains all the necessary tools and resources to complete the tasks that are required. Due to the nature of the business, this position requires flexibility in terms of your work schedule. Shifts require long periods of exposure to cutting, grinding metals, standing, lifting, pulling and twisting. All P.P.E. is provided to all employees of Grouse Mountain Resorts.
